Fees and collection

Understand the 2% creator fee, automatic collection and the 20/80 allocation.

The 2% creator fee

ZECPAD prepares new token launches with a fixed 2% Pump creator fee, equivalent to 200 basis points. This is a trading creator fee, not a tax on ordinary wallet-to-wallet token transfers.

Pump protocol fees, applicable liquidity-provider fees and Solana network costs are separate. The total cost of a trade is not necessarily 2%.

A launch is blocked rather than silently using another creator-fee rate if its quote or market configuration cannot support the requested rate.

Where creator fees go

The creator approves routing 100% of the market’s creator-fee entitlement to the configured ZECPAD treasury. This does not redirect 100% of trading volume, Pump’s own protocol fees or network fees.

Fees first accrue in Pump’s vaults. They become treasury capital only after a collection transfer and its market attribution have been verified. A visible vault balance is not a confirmed treasury receipt.

Automatic collection

After routing is finalized, creators do not sign each scheduled claim. The treasury signer performs collection when the configured worker and its safety checks permit it.

Small balances remain in the vault until eligible. Queue rotation, funding checks or network failures can delay collection beyond a single round. A schedule is not a guarantee of a claim every five minutes for every coin.

PolicyValue
Scheduled checksOne round every five minutes.
Claim thresholdAt least 0.00001 ZEC, equal to 1,000 base units.
New claim limitAt most two new claim attempts per round.
Network-fee cap0.00002 SOL per newly prepared automatic claim, excluding account rent.
Operational reserveAt least 0.05 unallocated treasury SOL for fees and account rent.
Eligible marketsVerified routing completed, not paused, with supported collection and sufficient funding.

The 20/80 split

For a verified receipt of 100,000 ZEC base units, 20,000 units are attributed to the protocol and 80,000 to the market’s chosen Fee Mode. Integer rounding never creates funds.

The 20% protocol share is reserved for separately approved ZECPAD native-token buybacks. Collection alone does not execute a buyback. The 80% share follows Shield Reserve or ZEC Rewards.

SOL gas funding is separate from this split. Different token mints and assets are never combined into one invented balance.

protocol_share = floor(verified_receipt / 5)
fee_mode_share = verified_receipt - protocol_share

What counts as collected?

  • A signed transaction is not enough: its chain outcome and attributable receipt must be verified.
  • An unsigned request or failed simulation does not create a fee receipt.
  • A pending signature is reconciled before a new attempt can replace it.
  • An unrelated treasury transfer is not automatically assigned to a market.
  • The same transaction evidence cannot be credited twice.
