How ZEC Rewards works
ZEC Rewards uses the market’s available 80% fee allocation to plan distributions to eligible token holders. Balances are recorded in a fresh finalized snapshot, then rewards are calculated proportionally.
There is no age multiplier or reset-on-sell setting. Holding time does not increase the weight of an otherwise identical token balance.
Settings
The configured interval determines the planned epoch end. It is a schedule, not a guarantee that a payout will occur at an exact time.

Who is eligible?
Rewards use eligible wallet balances at the finalized snapshot. The treasury and official market reserves are excluded.
The recorded snapshot fixes the queued recipients and their weights for that epoch. The live holder table can change afterward without rewriting an already planned allocation.
From receipt to distribution
- Confirmed ZEC receipts accumulate in the market’s available allocation until its minimum capital is met.
- A fresh finalized snapshot records eligible balances and recipients.
- Integer arithmetic calculates proportional rewards. Rounding dust stays in the available allocation.
- The payable pool is reserved and payout jobs are created, with at most eight recipients per transaction.
- At the scheduled epoch end, operator-approved jobs can be signed by the treasury.
- Each transfer must have verified chain confirmation before it is described as paid.

Check confirmed transfer evidence for actual payouts. A reserved pool or queued job is not a wallet balance and cannot be spent again while reserved.
